The No. 3 seed Illinois Fighting Illini are advancing in the NCAA tournament after a decisive 85-69 win over No. 14 seed Morehead State on Thursday afternoon.
The star of the game was forward Marcus Domask who joined a very exclusive club in the win by recording just the 10th triple-double in NCAA Tournament history.
He officially secured the triple-double with a late three-pointer.

He is just the ninth different player to accomplish the feat, joining Gary Grant, Shaquille O'Neal, David Cain, Andre Miller Dwyane Wade, Cole Aldrich, Draymond Green (twice) and Ja Morant.
Domask's performance was the first since Morant did it during the 2019 tournament for Murray State.
He finished the game with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.
Illinois advances to play No. 11 seed Duquesne on Saturday.
Domask has been one of the Illinis' top scorers this season, averaging more than 16 points per game. He only averaged 4.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game, more than doubling his output in both categories on Thursday.
It was only the second time all season he reached double-digits in assists and only the third time for rebounds.
